Rest is built so your phone habits stay on your phone.

Rest uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls, Device Activity and Managed Settings) to notice when a visit to the apps you picked runs long, and to show a gentle shield. iOS gives Rest anonymous tokens for the apps you choose, not their names or content. Rest learns only that a threshold was reached, for example “20 minutes of use”. It cannot see what you do inside any app.
If you allow it, Rest reads step counts, workouts and sleep from the Health app to build your weekly Impact summary. Rest never writes to Health. Health data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with anyone.
If you allow it, Rest reads your step count during a lap so it knows when you've moved enough. Without it, a lap is simply timed.
Rest schedules notifications on your device, such as the one-minute heads-up and “lap done”. They are created on your iPhone, not sent from a server.
Your deal (visit length, reset, bedtime), goals, one-thing tasks and lap history are stored on your iPhone so the app and its widget can work. They are not uploaded to us.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple gives the app only what it needs to confirm that your subscription is active. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. When you write from the app, the draft also includes the app version, iOS version and your visit and reset settings, which you can delete before sending. We use this only to reply and to fix problems, and we delete it once it's no longer needed.
We don't sell, rent or share your personal data. Because the app doesn't send your data to us, there is nothing for us to share. We would disclose information only if the law required it, and only what we actually hold (such as a support email).
Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the EU/UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal data. Since your app data stays on your device, you control it directly. For anything we hold, such as an email you sent us, write to haffez23@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Rest is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, let you know in the app. If Rest ever starts sending data off your device, we'll ask you first.
